CEO

Les Goldberg is a visionary entrepreneur with over four decades of leadership in the live events and entertainment technology industry. In 1984, at 17, he founded LMG with a $5,000 loan, growing it into a $100M+ industry leader specializing in show technology, systems integration, and concert touring. Under his direction, LMG became a trusted provider of video, audio, and lighting solutions for Fortune 500 companies and global live productions. Today, Les is the Founder/CEO/Chairman of Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP), a global parent company to brands within the live event and entertainment industry, with a shared philosophy approach to service, quality and support, allowing each brand to maintain its brand identity and expertise. Les remains deeply involved in shaping ETP’s strategic vision, identifying opportunities for expansion, and fostering innovation. His leadership has positioned ETP as a key player in the evolving live events and entertainment technology sector, with a focus on driving sustainable growth and maximizing shareholder value. In addition to his executive leadership, Les is the host of The Road Ahead podcast, a think tank for the live events industry that brings together industry leaders to discuss innovation, trends, and the future of live experiences. He is also an author, entrepreneur, husband, and father of three, dedicated to advancing the future of live events.

Dave John

President / COO

Dave John is an experienced leader in the audio, video, and lighting (AVL) industry with a background in live event staging, production, and strategic business operations. With a career that began as a video technician, Dave quickly ascended through the ranks, mastering technical planning and event management before assuming executive leadership roles overseeing operations, logistics, and business strategy.  As President and Chief Operating Officer of Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP), Dave guides the company’s global vision, operational strategy, and business growth. His experience in international business and finance helps foster innovation, cultivate strategic industry alliances, and expand ETP’s portfolio of brands within the live events and entertainment technology sector. Dave holds a BA in Film & Video from Penn State, an MA in International Business, and an MBA from Webster University, along with executive credentials from Notre Dame and Harvard Business School. Committed to education and workforce development, he is an Adjunct Professor at UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management and serves on multiple advisory boards. Dave is also a founding member of the Education Advancement and Outreach Committee (EAOC) for AV Alliance, leading initiatives to expand career opportunities in the AVL industry worldwide. Dave continues to shape the future of the live events industry by mentoring emerging talent, advancing industry best practices, and driving transformative leadership.

Doug Murray

Doug Murray

Managing Partner/EVP

Doug is a pioneering force in the live events and experiential technology industry with over 25 years of executive leadership experience. As the founder of Upstage Video and later ChoiceLIVE, he spent 18 years revolutionizing large-format video technology for premier events including PGA Tour competitions, major sports league activations, and global concert tours with A-list artists. Following the acquisition of ChoiceLIVE by Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP) in 2023, Doug now serves as Managing Partner and Executive Vice President at ETP, where he plays a key role in identifying potential acquisition partners and shaping integration strategy across the company’s brand portfolio. He also directly oversees the EventEQ brand, serving as a mentor and strategic advisor to its executive team. In this role, he helps develop leadership talent, sharpen competitive positioning, and guide long-term vision—ensuring EventEQ continues to grow as a dynamic and values-driven force within the ETP family. Doug’s entrepreneurial journey began as a touring musician before transitioning to production tour management for various bands. He later co-founded iPort Media, where as COO he was at the forefront of the digital signage revolution for what became the leading in-store media network in the eye care industry. With deep expertise in event technology integration, business development, and company scaling, Doug specializes in transforming entrepreneurial ventures into sustainable growth companies while maintaining their innovative edge and client-first approach. He studied at the University of Colorado, Boulder and Villanova University, with a focus on ethical, generous, and effective marketing techniques.

Paul Hutton is a seasoned leader in the events and entertainment technology industry, with over 40 years of experience driving innovation, operational excellence, and business growth. As President of Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP) UK & Europe, Paul spearheads the company’s expansion and strategic development in the region, strengthening ETP’s position as a premier provider of event technology solutions. Before joining ETP, Paul spent three decades as Managing Director at Blitz, where he mastered the orchestration of large-scale live events and built a reputation for delivering world-class production experiences. His deep industry expertise and proven track record in leadership, logistics, and innovation now fuel his mission to elevate ETP Europe’s offerings and drive long-term value for clients and partners. Beyond his executive role, Paul is a passionate advocate for education and career development in event technology. As a Visiting Industry Fellow at Oxford Brookes University, he actively mentors and inspires the next generation of industry professionals, helping to shape the future of live events production. Paul’s commitment to strategic growth, operational excellence, and talent development ensures that ETP Europe remains at the forefront of the evolving live events industry.

Chief Financial Officer

Luz Batista, CPA, is a distinguished finance executive with over 25 years of expertise in financial strategy, accounting, and business operations. As Chief Financial Officer of Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP), she leads the company’s global financial strategy, overseeing all financial functions to drive efficiency, optimizing resources and ensuring sustainable growth across ETP’s portfolio.  Luz has held senior financial leadership roles in a range of organizations, demonstrating a proven history in financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Her forward-thinking approach supports ETP’s fiscal health and scalability in the evolving entertainment technology sector.  Luz holds a BBA from Baruch College and a master’s in accounting from Stetson University. Passionate about mentoring future industry leaders, she is also an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, teaching Entertainment Finance at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.  A results-oriented leader, Luz plays a critical role in shaping ETP’s long-term financial vision and strengthens ETP’s position as a leader in the global entertainment technology space.

Lucy Reyes is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience in the live events and entertainment technology industry. She began her career at LMG in 1997, steadily advancing through the company to become Chief of Staff at Entertainment Technology Partners (ETP). In this role, she leads all global people operations, overseeing the processes, tools, and strategies that support ETP’s workforce and organizational growth.  Lucy is also the driving force behind The Coil Learning Center, ETP’s industry education initiative dedicated to leadership development and career growth in the events and entertainment industry. Through partnerships with colleges, high schools, career placement programs, and community organizations, Coil increases awareness and access to sustainable careers, helping shape the future talent pipeline.  Within ETP, Lucy drives strategic initiatives focused on people development, culture management, and operational excellence, ensuring ETP’s brands remain at the forefront of the industry.  Lucy holds a master’s Certificate in Business Process Management from the University of San Francisco, a master’s Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Villanova University, with additional studies in Human Resource Management at Michigan State University. Her leadership continues to shape ETP’s culture and the broader live events industry.

Mike Clauss is VP of Business Systems & Technology at ETP, leading enterprise-wide systems, infrastructure, and workflows to enhance operational performance across its global brands. With nearly two decades at ETP, he drives technology strategy and process optimization to support business growth and efficiency.  Mike leads systems integration, workflow optimization, and enterprise-wide process standardization, ensuring seamless scalability and maximum efficiency. His purview spans ISO certifications, enterprise software and hardware ecosystems, facilities management, financial and operational systems, and the strategic deployment of technology to enhance business performance.   A pioneer in RFID-driven inventory management, Mike spearheaded the development and implementation of advanced tracking solutions in the U.S. and UK, transforming logistics and asset management. His expertise in data analytics, automation, and AI-driven decision-making has been key to scaling ETP’s operations. Known for his ability to navigate complexity, Mike is a trusted advisor to executive leadership, bridging technology and business intelligence to drive innovation and maintain ETP’s competitive edge in live events and entertainment technology.
